Psychotherapy is a process aimed at supporting the management of well-being. Everyone universally has encountered hardship and psychological pain to some degree, it comes with being human. Engaging in therapy does not indicate weakness, rather it illustrates bravery. Willingness to strive for change is a big step that I am ready to help you with.
Kathryn, aspires to create an environment that you are comfortable being yourself in. The outcome of therapy is often linked to the trusting relationship between the client and the therapist. Therefore, feeling safe is important. I encourage you to explore your own journey- therefore I do ask many questions. I will support you to unearth the answers along your path. Everyone has a different route, so I use an integrative approach using various modalities including DBT/CBT, Narrative Therapy, Soothing the Inner Child, Reality Therapy, Solution Focused, Client-Centred Approach and Psychodynamic. I understand one size does not fit all. I tailor my technique to your individual needs.
