Dr. Sarah Hopkins has a different approach to chiropractic. She analyzes movement in order to depict how you can move better, and function optimally. She ensures each patient has adequate time to treat all muscle, joints, and connective tissue needed to regain proper function. She wants everyone to perform at their best whether they are a world class athlete, or world's best mom.
Dr. Hopkins graduated from Dalhousie University with honours Bachelor of Science Kinesiology. She then continued her education with a doctorate at the only chiropractic college in Canada, the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where she graduated with Clinic honours.
Dr. Hopkins then continued her education at the Ontario College of Health and Technology completing the Registered Massage Therapy program.

Dr. Hopkins has certificates in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture for Health Professionals from McMaster University. This is a neurofuncitional acupuncture program developed to treat neuropathic pain and dysfunction. She also has certification in Functional Range Release and Synergy Performance Taping.
She had the privilege of working under two Sport Chiropractors in Toronto during her clinical internships. Working at events such as the 2011 International Beach Volleyball competition in Toronto has given her the experience of working with athletes and understand the complex psyche of athletes. Dr. Hopkins diversified training allows her to take a different approach to Chiropractic and treating patients. Looking at global movement patterns in the body and testing muscle inhibition and facilitation to increase functional movement. She believes in increasing power and function and while decreasing the rate of injury, and increasing your performance and health. Dr. Hopkins has been a competitive athlete for most of her life. She now competes in triathlon,, her most recent competition was the ITU Wold Championship in Rotterdam. She also coaches swimming for Tryforce, Niagara Triathlon Club. |
